- Polarization standards for CMB polarization experiments ( Planck satellite core team working group 6)
- Polarized radiative transfer, maser theory
- Transient phenomena in astrophysics:
Galactic Center monitoring (coll. A. Eckart et al.),
flux variations in protoplanetary disks (coll. M. Fernandez,IAA Granada, F. Kerschbaum, Univ. Wien, et al.),
polarization monitoring of active galactic nuclei (coll. I. Agudo, C. Thum)
Occupational Tasks:
- Managing the HERA observing pool,
- Author of the data processing software MIRA,
- Commissioning of receivers (e.g. HERA and EMIR), polarimeters (e.g. XPOL), and spectrometers for the 30m telescope,
- Astronomer on duty at the 30m telescope.
